Apocalypse?

Since the beginning of 2011, mysterious happenings across the world has stunned everybody and made headlines the last few days. After the big flood in Australia, the dead birds that fell from the sky and other similar things is pointing in the direction of global warming and related issues. Yet no one has given a satisfying answer to the question; “how could 3,000 red winged black blackbirds tumble down from the sky at new years eve?

A large number of dead chickens dropped from the Kentucky Sky near Druid Hills just days after thousands of blackbirds dropped from the sky in Arkansas and Louisiana and hundreds of jackdaw’s fell from the sky in Sweden. In Arkansas the mysterious situation escalated when 100,000 fish was found dead in the Arkansas River.

Now more than 40,000 Velvet swimming crabs have washed up dead to the shore in England. Reason? Hypothermia says some experts because the crabs benefits from the warm seas, but as winter arrives and snow covers the beaches, it basically gets too much for the poor creatures.

Sin City, Las Vegas is known for its location out in the desert and the strong sun, but for the second time in 40 years, Las Vegas experienced a rare event as the snow was measured to be 20 cm. in 2008 when the same thing happened, the snow had melted very fast.

In Canada, astonished people watched the Goldstream River in Victoria as it slowly turned bright green and after a while was back to its natural color again. The countries Ministry of Environment teams were sent to the spot for further investigations. While the events are strange, the officials suggested that the New Years fireworks are the reason of the bird deaths and the cold weather reason for the mass deaths of fish and crabs, but the strange events has happened in warm cities as well so there must be another reason? I was thinking that maybe pollution would explain the incident, but in such case, this would have been detected long ago. And the explanation of the fireworks does not add up in my mind, because people has been celebrating New Year around the world for years and I have never heard about such incident before now. Let us say that the fireworks killed the birds, what about the fish and crabs in the sea?
