Anti Semetism in the Fashion World – John Galliano

The scandalous star designer John Galliano declared his love for Hitler and came with strong anti-Semitic statements in a video shown on the British tabloid newspaper The Sun’s website. The video showed an obviously intoxicated Galliano that was scolding people in a bistro in Paris located in a district where many Jews live.

“I love Hitler. People like you should have died, their mothers and their ancestors should all be gassed,” Galliano said to a group of guests who were partly Jewish and partly of other ethnic origins.

Galliano was already temporarily suspended from his position in the fashion house Dior for having made anti-Semitic statements and this happened in the same restaurant where he once again offended other guests.

Galliano who is British, took over the creative responsibilities at Dior in 1996 and has received a lot of credit for the fashion house’s increasing economy but his statements is probably enough to shut him out from Dior’s big fashion show this Friday.
